Privacy Policy

This policy describes how Agreement Software Works, LLC. (“we”, “us”) handles information when you use the Terms CLM website and the Terms CLM application. It is written for the product as it ships today.

Who we are

Terms CLM is a product of Agreement Software Works, LLC., a company based in Colorado, United States. The marketing site and the application are separate: this website is for information, demos, and checkout; the application is the multi-tenant workspace where customers store contracts.

Information we collect

Marketing site

  • Name, work email, and optional company when you book a demo or capture a lead.
  • Name, email, and role if you subscribe to the newsletter.
  • Billing email and payment status if you start Stripe Checkout. Card numbers go to Stripe, not to us.
  • Standard server logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL, time) needed to run and secure the site.

Application (customer tenants)

  • Account details your organization provides: name, email, role, and tenant membership.
  • Contract files and related records you upload or create: PDFs, titles, dates, values, vendors, approvals, obligations, and activity history.
  • Authentication data processed by the identity provider configured for your tenant (for example OIDC / SSO on Enterprise).

Customer contract content is the customer’s data. We process it to provide the service. We do not use it for advertising.

How we use it

  • To respond to demo and sales requests, and to send newsletters you asked for.
  • To create Checkout sessions, collect subscription payment via Stripe, and relate a paid plan to a tenant.
  • To operate the application: store documents, extract key terms, run approvals, send renewal alerts, and show usage against plan limits.
  • To keep the service secure, debug failures, and meet legal obligations.

AI analysis

If you upload a contract, we extract text and generate a structured summary for your tenant. That processing is done for your workspace. We do not use your documents to train a shared model for other customers. AI output is assistance, not a legal review.

Who we share it with

We do not sell personal information. We share it only as needed to run the service:

  • Stripe, for subscription checkout and payment.
  • Google (Tag Manager, Analytics, and Ads) when those IDs are configured, for visit measurement and conversion tracking.
  • The identity provider used to sign you in.
  • Infrastructure vendors that host the application and database, under our instruction.
  • Authorities if required by law, or if needed to protect the service or other people.

Tenant users see only data in tenants they belong to, subject to roles and sharing your organization configures.

Cookies

The marketing site uses cookies or similar storage for basic site function (for example, keeping a demo form session). If Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, or Google Ads is configured, those services may set cookies to measure visits and conversions. You can block them in your browser. The application uses cookies or tokens required for authentication and session security. We do not use customer contract content for advertising.

Retention

Marketing leads are kept while we are in contact with you, then deleted or anonymized when they are no longer needed. Application data stays for as long as the customer tenant remains active, plus a short period afterward for backups and dispute handling, unless a customer asks us to delete sooner and we are not required to keep it.

Your choices

  • You can decline a demo or newsletter form. Fields we ask for are the ones we need to reply.
  • You can ask us to access, correct, or delete marketing-site information we hold about you.
  • Customer administrators control users and content inside their tenant. End users should start there for account or document requests.
  • If you are in a place that grants additional privacy rights, we will honor a valid request we can verify.

Children

Terms CLM is a business product. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 16.

Changes

If we change this policy in a material way, we will update the date above and post the new version on this page. Continued use of the site or application after that date means the updated policy applies.
